About us
Registered as a society with the Registrar of Societies, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, SPSS holds registration number 1703, dated November 4, 2004. Since its inception, the organization has been actively involved in creating meaningful and lasting impact across rural and semi-urban regions.
Our Focus Areas
SPSS works across multiple development sectors to support and empower communities:
Education – Providing quality learning opportunities to children and youth.
Health & Family Welfare – Promoting health awareness and facilitating healthcare initiatives.
Women’s Development & Empowerment – Strengthening women through skill-building, support programs, and awareness activities.
Rural Development – Enhancing the living standards of rural populations through various community-driven interventions.
Vocational Training – Equipping individuals with practical skills to create livelihood opportunities.
Leadership
The organization is guided by Mr. Surendra Pratap Singh, who serves as the Chairman-cum-Chief Executive Officer. His visionary leadership and dedication continue to inspire the team toward achieving SPSS’s mission of inclusive growth and community development.
Vision
Shri Pitambara Shiksha Samiti has been established with the vision to inspire women and youth in rural and semi-urban regions to become genuine change agents for their families and communities. A substantial knowledge gap exists regarding health issues and risk factors associated with poor nutrition, unhealthy lifestyle, stress, and the harmful consumption of tobacco and alcohol.
The Society envisions empowering young women and youth with accurate health information—encouraging them to adopt healthy practices such as balanced nutrition, yoga, timely medical care, and overall wellness. Equipped with these insights, they are encouraged to take this learning back to their homes and communities, helping families make better and healthier decisions.
In association with K. P. Singh Memorial Hospital, the Society is guided by the leadership of Dr. Surendra Pratap Singh, a renowned social worker with over three decades of experience. Building upon existing curative healthcare services, the Society is committed to expanding into preventive healthcare through a community-driven approach.

Chairman's Message
A symbol of compassion, justice, equality, and unity, we follow a divine path that guide humanity toward growth. With this vision, MKD Group of Education and K.P. Singh Memorial Institute of Pharmacy & Nursing recognized the importance of education in modern society. This vision took shape in 2004 with the establishment of Maa Kamla Devi Shri Pitambara Vidyapeeth Inter College, affiliated with the UP Board. Since then, the institution has been spreading the light of education and contributing to national progress through empowerment.
We believe value-based education builds skills, character, confidence, and compassion. Over the years, the institute expanded its academic horizon by adding the Best Industrial Training Institute in Lucknow and Sitapur (2011), B.Ed. (2015), BTC (2016), and B.Pharma, D.Pharma, and Nursing programs (2019). With excellent infrastructure, dedicated faculty, and a student-friendly environment, we nurture holistic development through academics, sports, NCC, NSS, and cultural activities.

ur institution treats every student as special and facilitates them to experiment with cutting edge of contemporary thoughts and creativeness which help them to shape their aspirations and cherished area. Our colleges is known for academics, discipline student friendly environment including sports, NCC, NSS, cultural etc. its infrastructure including library, playground, canteen, WIFI, and IT based services are second to none. Our faculty is distinguished, dedicated and the supportive staffs are crucial in fulfilling our institutional goals.
We acknowledge that we have to prepare our child for transforming emerging challenges of life & work place into exciting opportunities also realizing the fact that modernization cannot be dichotomous with our tradition. I view my role as catalyst in bringing out the best of inherent & latent potential in my students in creating a just and inclusive society. Major Areas of Implementation
Education and Literacy
Shri Pitambara Shiksha Samiti is committed to promoting inclusive and quality education for children, adolescents, and adults. The primary focus is on:
• Ensuring access to basic education for children in rural and underserved areas
• Supporting formal and non-formal learning systems
• Organizing remedial classes, digital literacy sessions, and academic support programs
• Addressing school dropout issues and motivating children to continue their studies
• Encouraging lifelong learning through adult literacy initiatives
The objective is to nurture informed, confident, and capable individuals who can contribute positively to society.
Health and Family Welfare
The Society plays an active role in improving community health and well-being by:
• Conducting health awareness camps on preventive healthcare
• Providing free or subsidized health check-ups for early detection of diseases
• Organizing specialized camps focusing on maternal and child health, nutrition, immunization, and elderly care
• Promoting healthy lifestyle practices—yoga, fitness, balanced diet, and mental well-being
• Offering guidance on family planning, reproductive health, and hygiene practices
Through these initiatives, the Samiti aims to create a healthier, informed, and resilient community.
Women’s Empowerment
Empowering women is one of the core missions of the organization. Efforts include:
• Skill-building and capacity-development programs for women
• Awareness sessions on health, rights, financial independence, and gender equality
• Formation of self-help groups (SHGs) to encourage savings and entrepreneurship
• Providing support for income-generating activities and micro-business ventures
• Creating safe spaces for dialogue, learning, and leadership among women

Rural Development
Shri Pitambara Shiksha Samiti works towards strengthening rural infrastructure and livelihood opportunities through:

•Awareness drives on waste management, plantation, and sustainable living.
•Supporting rural households through poverty alleviation programs.
•Facilitating access to government schemes and welfare programs.

Vocational Training and Skill Development
To address unemployment and enhance employability, the Samiti provides vocational and skill-based training in multiple sectors:
• Tailoring, handicrafts, computer training, and retail skills
• Pharmacy, nursing, and paramedical training through affiliated institutions
• Workshops on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and job readiness
• Connecting trained individuals with job opportunities or self-employment avenues
The objective is to create a skilled workforce capable of sustaining themselves economically and contributing to regional development.
